Notice
Privacy Policy
This notice explains how we process the personal data of people who visit www.e-pmi.it or contact us, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code).
Data controller
Azzani Luca (e-pmi.it), Via Frignanese Impresa Mancini, 3 - 41058 Vignola (MO), Italy, VAT No. 02816730366. Email: l.azzani@e-pmi.it.
What data we process
Browsing data. Like any website, the systems hosting www.e-pmi.it may record some technical data about requests: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. This data is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse; we do not use it to identify visitors.
Data you send us by email. If you write to us, we process your email address and any data you choose to include in your message (for example name, company, phone number, description of your request).
Private area. Private area accounts are created by us for clients and collaborators. For each account we store the email address, the password in encrypted form (unreadable even to us), the role and the number of failed sign-in attempts, used to temporarily lock the account after repeated attempts.
Cookies. The site uses technical cookies and, only with your consent, the Google Maps map. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running the site and protecting it from abuse and attacks | Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Answering your requests for information, consulting or a quote | Pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Managing client relationships, invoicing and tax obligations | Performance of a contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR) |
| Managing private area accounts and access | Performance of the contract or service requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Showing the Google Maps map in the Contact section | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time |
We do not use your data for marketing or profiling, and we do not make decisions based solely on automated processing.
Do you have to provide your data?
No. Writing to us is your choice, but without an email address and the necessary information we cannot reply or prepare a quote.
Who we share data with
Data is processed by us and may be handled on our behalf by the providers of the technical services we use: the website hosting provider and the email provider, appointed as data processors. Client data is shared with our accountant for tax purposes. Data is not published or sold to third parties.
Google Ireland Limited processes data collected through Google Maps (only if you accept cookies) and Google Fonts as an independent controller, according to its privacy policy.
Transfers outside the European Union
Through Google's services, data may be transferred to the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission.
How long we keep data
- Browsing data: for the technical period set by the hosting provider, unless needed to investigate abuse or crimes.
- Email requests that do not turn into an assignment: up to 24 months from the last contact.
- Client and contract data: for the duration of the relationship and then for 10 years, as required by law for accounting and tax records.
- Private area accounts: while the account is active; the account is deleted when the relationship ends.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15-22 GDPR). If you gave consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like, without affecting processing already carried out: for the Google Maps map you can do so from the Cookie Policy.
To exercise your rights, write to l.azzani@e-pmi.it: we reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
